Overview
The Senior Data Scientist will join a highly skilled data science team and work directly with a talented team of software engineers, auditors, product managers, and customer experience managers to analyze healthcare data and deliver value for our clients.This is a remote position in Australia.Responsibilities
Design and build data science models and product features to achieve the business goals.Understand and translate business requirements from internal and external stakeholders into data products and features.Apply state-of-the-art AI/machine learning techniques to resolve analytical problems.Research and identify appropriate AI models to suit business needs.Collaborate with team members to build integrated analytic solutions including data pipelines, modeling, and dashboards.Serve as a subject matter expert in data and analytics in client engagements to help our customers get increased value from our products.Work with subject matter experts to validate the analytical insights and findings.Analyze and present actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key insights to internal and external stakeholders.Develop Proof of Concepts and working demos.Delegate tasks to and mentor junior data scientists.Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in data science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or other related fields.5+ years' experience in a commercial advanced analytics environment.Solid skills in building statistical/data science models.Can create or modify existing AI/ML techniques to suit the business needs.Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, and other advanced AI techniques.Hands-on experience in Python.Excellent communication skills.Desired skills :Experience in the healthcare industry highly regarded.Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) applications (QuickSight, S3, Sagemaker, HealthLake).Experience with agile software development.
