Dux is a restaurant and bar in the heart of Albury.
Dux provides a great workplace to relax with friends and family in a brand new venue.
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Chef to join our team.
This position would be ideal for someone looking to learn and be part of a team that creates delicious and fresh dishes daily.
We are on the hunt for a Chef for approx.
10 -15 hours per week, with flexibility to increase when needed.
The Dux team is small, which ensures great collaboration and teamwork, whilst producing top quality flavours and dishes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in the running of the kitchen during preparation and service.
- All aspects of food preparation, cleaning and hygiene.
- Comply with nutrition and safety standards.
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers.
- Stock control - receiving, monitoring and packing.
- Produce high quality food from fresh and local produce.
- Assist with kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service, and maintaining high standards of quality.
- Be an integral part of the team: you will have excellent communication skills.
- Functions and private events.
