Job Title: Ground Hardware Engineer Leader
We seek a highly skilled and specialized engineer to join our strategic space systems division.
As a member of our team, you will provide operation, maintenance, and repair for the ground terminal architecture at a customer's site, ensuring the availability of critical mission systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing daily activities and after-hours response for technical operations, maintenance, and repair of end-to-end communications capabilities.
Overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of communications systems and components for ground to space communication links.
Crafting and executing preventative maintenance plans for large antenna platforms and associated equipment.
Applying technical knowledge of electronics principles to determine equipment malfunctions and restore mission-critical operations at the system, sub-system, line replaceable unit, and board level.
You will also leverage your background experience and skills to support development teams generating the next stages of mission execution infrastructure and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8 years of engineering/technical experience or master's degree with 6 years of engineering/technical experience or high school diploma/g.e.d plus 12 years of engineering/technical experience.
Work-related experience with the operation, maintenance, and repair of RF communication systems.
Proven leadership experience on a project and/or team.
Ability to obtain a DOD top secret clearance, SCI access, and complete a counterintelligence polygraph examination prior to start date.
