Favcote is a leading provider of Protective Coatings, Defence, Marine and Industrial Services throughout Australia. We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Project Coordinator / Estimator to join our growing team.
This is a hands‐on role combining project coordination, estimating, client engagement and commercial support. The successful candidate will play a key role in securing and delivering projects while working closely with operational teams, supervisors, clients and management.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare estimates, quotations and tender submissions.
* Review client specifications, drawings and scopes of work.
* Develop labour, equipment, material and subcontractor cost estimates.
* Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor pricing.
* Coordinate projects from award through to completion.
* Assist with project planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
* Track project costs, variations and commercial performance.
* Prepare project documentation, work packs and progress reports.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
* Coordinate workforce mobilisation, inductions and site access requirements.
* Support procurement activities and material management.
* Attend client and project meetings as required.
* Maintain project records and ensure compliance with company systems and procedures.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in estimating, project coordination, project administration or project management.
* Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
* Strong commercial and financial awareness.
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
* Strong attention to detail and problem‐solving abilities.
* Experience within Defence, Marine, Industrial Services, Construction or Protective Coatings industries will be highly regarded.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
