We have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced Plant Operator to work with a road sealing team based from Narrandera, and working across the greater Riverina area.
Applicants should have proven experience on a variety of earthworks plant. Main operation of this role will be with rollers (multi-tyre) but you may also be required to assist on other plant at times such as skid steer and excavator.
A current, unrestricted Australian driver licence is essential. A willingness to upgrade to at least MR would be highly regarded.
Traffic control tickets will be required with this role.
This work crew will travel for work on a frequent basis, staying away for a week at a time. Accommodation is provided and allowances paid to cover out of pocket expenses.
Whilst plant operating will be the primary focus of this role, applicants must also be willing to undertake manual labouring duties as required to assist the team in completing required job tasks. You will need be fit for various manual handling tasks including bending, squatting etc.
You will be working full time hours of work, up to 10 hours per day and working a 9 day fortnight (3 day weekend every 2nd week!!)
This role is available until 30 June initially with potential of further work being available for good quality workers. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates and allowances for additional hours of work.

previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
