Business Development Manager - Advanced Solutions

We are seeking a Business Development Manager specialising in Advanced Solutions (Level 2, Level 3) for Yokogawa’s forward-thinking Digital Enterprise Solutions team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a consultative and tech-savvy sales professional who thrives on solving complex problems and is passionate about digital transformation, cloud applications, and cybersecurity in operational technology environments. You will play a key role in helping our industrial customers build safer, smarter, and more sustainable operations.
What you’ll do:
In this role, you’ll be a key driver of our digital solutions sales strategy in WA by:
- Leading proactive client engagements to identify opportunities across the Digital Solutions portfolio.
- Build strong pipelines and collaborate closely with the wider Solutions Sales team.
- Deliver high-level technical guidance and conceptual digital solutions to industrial clients.
- Contribute to our competitive positioning in areas like Cybersecurity, AI, IIoT and Cloud.
- Participate in marketing events and showcase solutions through demos and proof of concepts.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in digital solutions, software, cloud or cybersecurity sales.
- A solid grasp of digital transformation within operational environments (utilities, energy, mining, or manufacturing).
- A consultative and strategic sales approach with demonstrated stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Relevant qualifications (degree-level); cyber security certification is a plus.
