Functions Manager | Hinterland Hotel / Motel
The Hinterland Hotel / Motel is seeking a proactive and results-driven Functions Manager to lead our event operations and drive venue growth. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all bookings, ensuring every enquiry is responded to within 24 hours and converting leads into memorable events.
You will work closely with our Marketing Champion to promote our versatile spaces and keep our seasonal Functions Packages updated across all platforms. From finalizing BEOs and runsheets two weeks out to coordinating logistics, catering, and staff training, you will ensure seamless execution and impeccable venue presentation. Inherent requirements:
* This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

* You’re a natural at making people feel welcome and have a knack for the little details.
* You’re a team player who is motivated to create magic for both guests and teammates.
* You must have a current RSA certificate and flexible availability.
* Some gaming experience or willingness to learn would also be an asset.
