Consumer Marketing is a Centre of Excellence (CoE) within the Marketing and Corporate Affairs function at CBA. We directly support the Retail Bank leadership team and deliver toward Retail Bank priorities .
Within the Consumer Marketing CoE is the CommSec, Wealth and Private (W&P) Marketing Chapter, responsible for defin ing the marketing strategies and plans to execute on the business strategy.

Do work that matters
Reporting to the Chapter Lead - CommSec, Wealth & Private Marketing, you will be the marketing partner to the CommSec extended leadership team and key delivery crews. You will also be responsible for leadership, coaching and mentoring of a small team of indirect reports.
On any given day, you will:
Be responsible for ongoing management of the Marketing strategy for C ommSec to best drive awareness (brand), acquisition and engagement for customers.
Build marketing initiatives to support relevant growth segments that are insights lead and best position the range of products and services for the customer needs.
Implement and optimise Comm Sec content strategy to build audience base and scale distribution of content in partnership with key subject matter experts and corporate affairs.
Explore and activate cross-sell opportunities across CBA’s customer bases.
Use customer and marketing insights to best inform new product development and proposition optimisation to help drive customer centricity across CommSec .
Lead cross functional teams with core partners who will contribute to go-to-market plans and customer communications strategies to meet business and customer objectives .

Highly strategic experience designing customer value propositions that are simple, cohesive and can be used to develop compelling go-to-market strategies.
Strong knowledge and experience in working with investing segments and audiences .
Insight driven with ability to use data to tell stories, influence decision making and development of marketing initiatives, and connect them to business opportunities.
Strong stakeholder management skills with all elements of the value chain including product / data and analytics / digital etc. Executive level partnership and engagement is critical.
Brand management .
Experience in developing audience-led content strategies to drive brand consideration and optimise content execution for engagement.
Experience in social media strategy and management (preferred).
Strong business acumen and understanding of ROI/ROMI and campaign metrics including budget management.
Creative thinker with problem-solving/growth mindset.
Experience in leading cross functional ‘virtual’ teams of various disciplines to build and execute on customer centric plans.
Experience in working in agile ways of working (preferred)
