About the Role
We are currently seeking highly skilled Disability Support Workers to join our caring and dynamic team to provide high-quality in‐home support services & assorted Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses within Ipswich, Middle Park & Collingwood.
Duties and Responsibilities
* High personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
* Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries and traveling to medical appointments
* Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
* Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
* Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
* Monitoring the well‐being of customers and reporting on their progress
* Provide updates on customer progress following each service

About You
* Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
* Ability to build rapport & good working relationships
* Comfortable using technology (e.g. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback
What You Will Need
* Current First Aid certificate/CPR
* Current Australian (QLD) Driver's License
* Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
* Smartphone with internet access
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
* Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services
* Right to work in Australia with ability to provide 100 points of ID
