The Role
AsHead Chef, you will lead the operational excellence of our Bistro and Function kitchens. Reporting directly to the Venue Manager and Managing Director, you will be instrumental in driving quality, consistency, and innovation while mentoring and developing a talented kitchen brigade. This is more than a job — it's a launchpad into something much bigger.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations across the bistro and function venues
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff
Drive culinary excellence during service and high-volume events
Develop the seasonal menu design, including specials.
Ensure consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation
Manage ordering, food cost, stock levels, and supplier relationships
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and WHS compliance
Support rostering, Wage percentage, labour planning, and staff development
What You Bring
Proven experience as a Head Chef or senior Sous Chef in a busy, multi-outlet venue
Strong leadership and communication skills with staff, management and suppliers
Creativity and confidence in executing high-quality modern Australian cuisine
Expertise in kitchen operations, food cost control, and systems
A hands-on, calm, and solutions-focused approach to service
Culinary qualifications and food safety certifications
