We are seeking a skilled Estimator with strong commercial flooring experience to manage all estimating and tendering functions. You'll play a pivotal role in securing work, ensuring accurate pricing, and supporting seamless project handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret tender documents and identify project scope
* Complete accurate take-offs and pricing using industry-specific software
* Prepare, coordinate, and submit tenders on time
* Maintain tender registers, project files, and supporting documentation
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and building companies
* Review builder contracts and provide recommendations
* Support project handover to operations teams where required
* Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in estimating within the building and construction industry specific to flooring
* Proficiency with MeasureSquare or similar take-off software
* High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Effective organisational and documentation skills
* Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Word
* Must be Adelaide-based (office attendance and site visits required)
