McConnell Dowell is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced pipeline professionals across Australia. We are building capability for current and upcoming projects nationwide and are looking to connect with skilled pipeliners ready to contribute to large-scale energy and infrastructure delivery.
About the role
With a strong pipeline of work across the energy, water and utilities sectors, McConnell Dowell is expanding its national delivery capability. Opportunities may be available across metropolitan, regional and remote locations, supporting major transmission pipelines and associated facilities.
We are inviting interest from experienced professionals at a variety of levels, including:
Supervisors Superintendents Project Engineers & Senior Project Engineers Construction Managers Project Managers Key responsibilities will vary by role but may include:
Delivery of cross-country pipeline construction works including stringing, welding, coating and lowering-in Management of hydrostatic pressure testing and commissioning activities Oversight of trenchless installations including HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) Contractor and subcontractor coordination, programme and cost control Leadership of HSQE performance across construction activities About you
You are an experienced pipeline professional with demonstrated capability in large-diameter, high-pressure pipeline environments.
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
Proven experience in pipeline construction (oil & gas, water, slurry or gas transmission) Strong knowledge of welding processes, NDT, coating and integrity requirements Exposure to trenchless methodologies including HDD installations A commitment to safety leadership and collaborative team environments Don’t tick all the boxes but you’re still excited about this opportunity?
