**The Department**
The newly developed AMAH Hospital and Emergency Department combines Adult Inpatient and Consultation-Liaison and Emergency Psychiatry Services. The Hospital and Emergency Services Department will embed trauma-informed approaches throughout the continuum of care starting at the point of entry and extending through assessment and treatment to transition out of specialist care, either in the community or the hospital setting.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Operational Nurse Unit Manager (First Floor), Hospital and Emergency, the Clinical Nurse Manager (First Floor) will be responsible for quality and risk. A core element of the role/s will be the requirement to facilitate clinical review of patients, timely and responsive complaints liaison and incident review management (RISKMAN). These positions will ensure completion of audits and service implementation of Safewards and other quality related projects in partnership with CNC roles.
**Experience and Qualifications Required**
**_ Essential_**
- AHPRA registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a registered nurse with tertiary qualifications in mental health nursing - post-graduate diploma equivalent as a minimum.
- Minimum of 7 years' post graduate experience
- A Victorian Driver's licence is essential
**_ Desirable_**
- Higher degree in a relevant field or working towards highly regarded
- Previous leadership role highly regarded
