Our client is a well-known Federal Government Agency. A newly created technology focused Delivery Manager role has been established to support a recently launched technology uplift program. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team - including product owners, business analysts, technology engineering, testing teams, and program management, this role will be instrumental in driving business outcomes through the delivery of fit-for-purpose technology solutions. The Delivery Manager will be responsible fo r delivering technology solution s using agile or hybrid delivery methodologies, adapting approaches to suit project complexity, team structure, and stakeholder needs. This includes coordinating cross-functional teams, managing delivery timelines, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Your background could be as IT Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, or similar technology delivery roles. Success in this position will require strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively align stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business needs. Key duties and responsibilities will include the following: • Lead end-to-end delivery of technology solutions, ideally with MS Dynamics 365 CRM components, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards. • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, product owners, and external vendor resources. • Manage day-to-day operations of the teams including facilitating scrum, tracking and planning activities. • Deliver technology solutions using agile or hybrid delivery methodologies, tailoring approaches to suit project complexity, team dynamics, and stakeholder engagement needs. • Develop and maintain delivery plans, schedules, and resource allocations in collaboration with the program manager. • Monitor progress and performance, proactively identifying risks, issues, and dependencies, and implementing mitigation to help remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum. • Facilitate communication across technical and non-technical teams to ensure shared understanding of goals, priorities, and program alignment. • Ensure delivery activities comply with organisational governance frameworks, risk management protocols, and relevant regulatory or security requirements. • Promote continuous improvement in delivery practices by regularly reviewing team performance, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, and applying lessons learned to future work. • Support change management and user adoption activities to ensure successful implementation and integration of delivered solutions. This role will suit a project delivery professional with extensive experience in the delivery of technology solutions. Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM, case management and federal government would be highly regarded. This will be an initial 9 months engagement, based in Sydney or Canberra and it will likely extend.
