Head of Performance

We're looking for a commercially sharp, hands‐on Head of Performance to lead growth across our portfolio of subscription brands.

This is a senior role for someone who knows how to scale DTC businesses properly — not just by managing channels, but by understanding customers, building smart campaigns, shaping strong creative strategy, and driving the numbers that matter.

You'll own performance across the funnel, with a clear focus on CAC, retention, and subscriber growth. You'll lead a small team, work directly with the Founder & CEO, and stay close to the detail every day — researching, planning, testing, optimising, and executing.

This is not a role for someone who wants to lead from a distance. We want someone who is sleeves rolled up, in the work, and excited by the pace and complexity of a fast‐growth, multi‐brand DTC business.

The role

As Head of Performance, you will lead the strategy and execution of performance and growth marketing across multiple channels and brands.

You'll be responsible for creating and executing strategic marketing campaigns that drive efficient acquisition, stronger retention, and sustained subscriber growth. You'll work across channel planning, campaign development, customer insight, creative direction, testing, reporting, and optimisation.

You'll manage a small team, but this is very much a hands‐on senior specialist role. We're looking for someone who can zoom out and shape the strategy, then zoom straight back in to refine messaging, analyse performance, sharpen campaign plans, and help the team execute at a high level.

What you'll be doing
* Own the performance and growth strategy across our portfolio of DTC subscription brands
* Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels to drive efficient growth
* Lead the key business outcomes of lower CAC, stronger retention, and subscriber growth
* Develop clear testing roadmaps across channels, audiences, offers, messaging, and creative
* Partner closely with creative and content teams to improve campaign effectiveness through stronger creative strategy and communication
* Use customer insight, research, and performance data to shape campaign direction and uncover growth opportunities
* Stay close to the numbers, identifying what is working, what is not, and where to shift focus quickly
* Build, mentor, and guide a small team while maintaining high personal involvement in execution
* Bring rigour to planning, prioritisation, reporting, and optimisation across the performance function
* Work directly with the Founder & CEO on growth priorities, performance insights, and strategic opportunities
* Help create a high‐performance marketing culture built around ownership, pace, curiosity, and commercial thinking
What we're looking for
* Proven experience scaling a DTC subscription or consumer brand, with strong preference for subscription‐led businesses
* Strong senior‐level experience in performance, growth, or digital marketing within an eCommerce environment
* A hands‐on operator who is still happy to be in the detail, not just managing from above
* Strong commercial instincts and a clear understanding of how to drive efficient growth
* Demonstrated ability to improve acquisition efficiency, retention, and subscriber growth
* Excellent creative strategy instincts, with the ability to shape messaging, campaigns, and communications that convert
* Strong understanding of customer behaviour and how to translate insights into high‐performing campaigns
* Experience leading and developing a small team while maintaining a high bar for output
* Confidence working at pace in a scale‐up environment where priorities move and momentum matters
* Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across the business, especially at founder level
