4. Based at our St Lucia campus, with potential for some travel to placement sites

About This Opportunity
Play an important role in the Counselling team as a Placement Coordinator, coordinating student placements for the Master of Counselling program. You will drive placement opportunities for students, perform administrative functions, and facilitate partnerships with our placement partners.
You will be joining a small, supportive and stable team that are passionate about the student experience and social justice. Your work will make a genuine impact to the industry.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Placement coordination: Liaising with stakeholders to coordinate appropriate placements.
* Relationship building: Assisting with developing new partnerships within the social services healthcare industries and maintaining relationships with current placement partners.
* Administration: Record keeping of student placement activities, assisting with preparation of student placement manuals and information packages, and supporting compliance measures.

About You
* Completion of an undergraduate degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise in an administrative field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
* Demonstrated ability to positively develop and manage strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders across a wide client base.
* Demonstrated empathy and ability to communicate with students, including an awareness of cross-cultural differences.
* Excellent computer skills, including a sound knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft office, and the ability to rapidly acquire skills in new applications.
* Demonstrated customer service skills, showing capacity to deal with a wide range of clients in a helpful, enthusiastic way.
* Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change and willing to explore new options and find creative solutions to problems.
* Demonstrated experience in exercising tact, judgement and discretion when dealing with confidential and personal matters.
* Demonstrated ability to show initiative, be flexible and willing to work across a range of activities.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise own workload, work independently and meet deadlines.
