Task & responsibilities
Fabricate and install wooden, plywood, and wallboard structures, crafting and adjusting timber components for fittings and frameworks.
Assemble pre-cut wood components to construct structures and fixtures for installation.
Cut and shape wood to create precise joints.
Set frames and levels to ensure proper structural alignment.
Analyse blueprints and specifications to determine required materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Source, order, and select timbers and materials while preparing accurate layouts.
Work with various materials, including plastic laminates, Perspex, and metals.
Perform repairs on existing fixtures as needed.
Qualification & experience
AQF Certificate III or IV
Minimum of 1 year of work experience
The right to work in Australia
Good English skills
Team management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong time management skills
