About the Role
Ingham Lodge is a welcoming aged care home located in regional Queensland, where residents are supported in a warm, community-focused environment.
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Chef to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that support the health and wellbeing of our residents.
Working as part of a supportive hospitality team, you will be responsible for food preparation, service delivery and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

No two days are the same! As Chef you will:
* Prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals in line with menu requirements
* Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with dietary needs and texture-modified requirements
* Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
* Support menu planning and continuous improvement of food services
* Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising food waste
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen and care teams to meet resident needs
About You
You'll thrive with us if you have:
* Trade qualification as a Chef (or relevant experience)
* Previous experience in aged care, healthcare or hospitality (aged care highly regarded)
* Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
* Understanding of special diets and texture-modified meals (desirable)
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* A team-focused approach with a positive attitude
* A genuine passion for cooking and enhancing the dining experience for older Australians
