OverviewJob Title: Finance & Data ManagerDepartment: Finance, Data & AdministrationPrimary Purpose of Position: The Finance & Data Manager is responsible for the planning, implementing, managing and controlling financial related activities for the company both within Australia and in its overseas locations i.e. USA, NZ & CAN.3-month contract with possible extension.Key RequirementsStrong foundation in audit (ideally from a Big 4 firm combined with industry experience in sectors such as retail, apparel & fashion, clothing manufacturing, e-commerce, or other inventory-driven businesses.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging receivables and payables and ensuring any aged Debtors are addressedManage payroll function across ensuring compliance.Preparing monthly financial and management reports for departmental review, including variance analysis and commentary.Overseeing cashflow reporting.Preparation of year-end financial information for the compilation of special purpose financials.Assisting with the preparation of financial budgets and forecastsDeveloping and managing financial systems and policies ensuring they are fit for business.Preparing, analysing and reporting on key performance measures across company departmentsProblem solving and process improvementsEnsure effective controls are in place to ensure statutory compliance with state and federal tax lawsWorking with Information Systems to update core system as required to meet business / financial requirements.Customer RelationshipsEstablish and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliersMaintain effective working relationships with Tank Stream Design staff ensuring a high level of service to internal business unitsHealth and SafetyAdhere to all work health and safety policies and proceduresActively participate in all work health and safety initiativesTo take reasonable care for own health and safety and that of other personnel who may be affected by your conductOtherTo report and take direction and work from appropriate source, that being your direct managerAct and represent Tank Stream Design always in an honest, open and positive light to all parties including staff and customersMaintain a high standard and efficient electronic filing system on the serverOther tasks that may be assigned from time to time which contribute to the overall success of the companyEnsure adherence to legal and internal policy and procedure requirementsAttend and actively participate in any training provided (including 'tool box talks')Key MeasurablesDelivery and accuracy of financial information within the required timeframes.The ability to lead and work as part of a teamExcellent analytical and numerical abilitiesThe ability to continually demonstrate sound business and systems knowledgeAdherence to all company policies and proceduresGood oral and written communication skillsDiversity, Equity & Inclusion at HudsonHudson is committed to helping you find a workplace where you feel respected, supported, and free to thrive.
