About the role
This is a practical hands-on role, delivering horticulturaland open space maintenance services across the City of Greater Dandenong.
As a Qualified Gardener, you'll ensure garden beds at Council'sparks, reserves and streetscapes are maintained to a high standard. You'll workthrough horticultural tasks and respond flexibly to changing ground conditionsor customer requests.
The role plays an important part in maintaining the amenity,presentation and safety of public open space. You'll operate a wide range of plantand equipment and take direction from your crew leader as required.
About you
You're an experienced operator with a background inhorticulture, open space maintenance, and strong technical skills in horticulturalmethods and practices. You thrive in an outdoor, team-based environment andtake pride in delivering well-presented and functional open space for thecommunity.
As an experienced gardener, you enjoy engaging in dailywork, engaging with you crew mates, and ensuring high standards of safety,quality and service. You're organised, adaptable and committed to improvingservice outcomes through innovation and teamwork.
