Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver essential corporate services, including governance, human resources, information management, technology and communications, procurement, finance, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in leadership and management, with experience in delivering high-quality outcomes and developing the capabilities of their team.
The role involves participating as an adviser to the executive and member of the senior leadership team, contributing to organisational compliance, decision making, and continual improvement. You will also be responsible for building and developing relationships with key external stakeholders to support efficient and effective service provision, communication and collaboration regarding strategic issues.
A critical aspect of the role is performance measurement against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) developed and agreed upon for each role, documented in annual Business Unit and Performance Plans.
Pre-employment Checks
The successful candidate will be required to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer. This includes:
* Conviction checks in arson, violent crimes, sex-related offences, drug and alcohol related offences, crimes involving dishonesty, deception, false declarations, malicious damage, destruction of property, serious traffic offences, crimes against public order or relating to the administration of law and justice, and crimes against executive or legislative power.
* Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
* Identification check.
Desirable Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
* A tertiary qualification at degree level in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution.
* Five years' experience in the relevant discipline and/or in management.
* A current driver's licence.
