ESS is the market leading support services division of Compass Group, partnering with major companies throughout the oil and gas, mining and construction, and defence sectors.We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Phosphate Hill Village inNorthwest Queensland.Our Tastelife program is recognised worldwide and links all the elements of healthy eating, education, exercise and lifestyle activities to give a holistic approach to ensure residents mental and physical wellbeing.This role will be working on a 4 days on 3 days off roster, working 11hrs a day. FIFO from Townsville only.Flights, accommodation and meals all provided.The PositionPlan and deliver engaging social events on siteConduct a variety of group fitness activities and classes for residentsImplement and assist in the coordination of company-wide health initiativesMonitor and maintain all sporting, leisure and recreational activities / facilities on siteConduct Health Assessments and Gym Inductions for residentsProvide educational seminars as requiredEnsure communication and reporting processes are followedThe PersonA Certificate IV in Fitness, Diploma of Sport and Recreation or health related degree is essentialMinimum 12 months experience in a similar environmentCurrent first aid and CPR certificate mandatoryAustralian manual driver’s licenceEvents/Community Engagement experience - highly desirableYoga/Pilates/Breath Work Qualifications/Certificates - highly desirablePassion for physical and mental health and fitnessPrevious experience conducting group fitness activities and classesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in technical aspects of gym and recreation facilitiesHigh level focus on engagement with Clients and village residentsEvents coordinationHealth promotion backgroundThe BenefitsYou will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
