The Opportunity
Veolia is looking for a hands on Water Treatment Operator Maintainer to join our water operations team at the Springvale Mount Piper Power Station Water Treatment Facility near Lithgow.
This is a practical, on the tools role where you'll keep critical water treatment equipment running smoothly through daily operations and maintenance work.

What you'll be responsible for
* Operate and monitor water treatment plant equipment and systems
* Carry out routine maintenance, preventative servicing and breakdown repairs
* Troubleshoot equipment faults and fix issues
* Collect water samples and perform lab testing
* Keep accurate maintenance records
* Work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
* Respond to emergency breakdowns when needed (on-call)
What you'll need to be successful
* Trade background in mechanical, electrical or process work
* Experience working in industrial plants - operations or maintenance
* Reliable, hands on attitude and good problem solving skills
