About the role
Ideal candidates will bring experience in supporting clients with Spinal Cord Injuries or Traumatic Brain Injuries, along with skills in manual handling, including hoisting, transfers, and repositioning. While experience in personal care, pressure care, bowel care, and catheter care is highly valued, it’s not essential—we’re happy to provide training to those with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
Shifts and pay
Shifts: Our client is seeking regular shifts from Monday to Sunday, with morning shifts from 7:30am to 10:00am and evening shifts from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
Pay rates: E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL). SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax).
- Base hourly rate: $35.15
- Afternoon shift (ends 8pm–midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67
- Active night shift (finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday): $39.37
- Saturday: $49.21
- Sunday: $63.27
- Public holiday: $77.33
Qualifications and certificates
Required certificates and licences:
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current)
- Working with Children Check (Current)
- Australian Driver's License
- Comprehensive Insurance on Vehicle
- NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You
- First Aid and CPR (Current)
All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
Additional information
