What You'll Do:
* Keeping power reliable: Operating and maintaining diesel generation assets to high safety and performance standards.
* Hands‐on technical work: Delivering maintenance activities and providing operational support across Broome and surrounding Kimberley communities.
* Performance optimisation: Ensuring asset performance meets Horizon Power's operational objectives.
* Future‐focused work: Contributing to the development of generation asset management plans.
* Safe and skilled operations: Carrying out switching, isolations and permitting activities.
What You'll Bring:
* A current WA Electrical Workers Licence.
* Experience in maintaining and operating reciprocating diesel power stations.
* A solid understanding of generation control systems (desirable).
* Strong commitment to safety.
* Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling and work order management in a utility or generation environment.
