**The Opportunity**
Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our **Westall** team as an **Operations** **Team Member**. BlueScope Distribution is a provider of single-source product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.
In this exciting role, you will operate complex steel processing machinery to create smarter solutions for our customers, while monitoring product quality and remaining committed to your safety and that of the team. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of our Team Member role, allowing for future career development opportunities.
We are seeking individuals who are keen to work in an operations environment and utilise existing experience or are excited to learn to operate steel processing machinery, cnc plasma/oxy machines, forklifts and gantry cranes.
We have multiple positions available working Monday to Friday day or afternoon shift. You will receive a Rostered Day Off once a month, access to our EAP (Employment Assistance Program) and free onsite parking.
**What Will You Do?**
This role will see you:
- operate machinery to process our steel products
- safely loading and unloading our products on and off trucks
- operate remote control gantry cranes and forklifts
- accurately pick and pack orders to prepare for customer delivery
- successfully contribute to a safe working environment
