Dewatering Supervisor / Manager
Our client is a well-established specialist piling and ground engineering contractor seeking an experienced Dewatering Supervisor / Manager to lead and manage dewatering operations across projects in the Gold Coast and broader South‑East Queensland region.
In this senior, hands‑on role you will manage dewatering activities on complex construction sites, ensuring safety, efficiency and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage dewatering operations, including wellpoint and deep well systems.
* Lead site crews and coordinate plant, pumps and equipment.
* Install, commission, monitor and adjust dewatering systems.
* Identify and resolve groundwater and site‑specific challenges.
* Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and discharge requirements.
* Liaise with project teams, clients and regulators.
* Maintain site records, reporting and dewatering documentation.
About You
* Proven experience in a Dewatering Supervisor, Manager or Senior Dewatering Technician role.
* Strong technical understanding of groundwater control systems and pump operations.
* Background in civil construction, piling, shoring or ground engineering.
* Confident in leading crews and managing site activities.
* Strong safety leadership and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and dewatering designs.
