We are seeking a Non-Executive Director to join our Board of Directors. As a Director, you will play a vital role in guiding the strategic direction, sustainability and governance of our organisation.
This is a voluntary position with an initial 3-year term (renewable), and an opportunity to make a lasting contribution to a deeply values-led organisation.
We are keen to hear from individuals who are:
* Purpose-driven, with a commitment to enhancing the lives of people living with dementia
* Experienced in one or more of the following areas: aged care, dementia support, clinical governance, fundraising, marketing, or community engagement
* Collaborative and curious, bringing fresh ideas and thoughtful oversight
* Comfortable in a hands-on, small-organisation setting
The successful candidate will have strong governance, financial and risk management skills, and be comfortable with ambiguity and change. They will also be able to contribute to the ongoing review and development of our Board policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide strategic guidance and oversight in line with our Constitution and values
2. Monitor and support the implementation of our strategic plan and budget
3. Uphold strong governance, financial and risk management practices
4. Participate in quarterly Board meetings, an annual general meeting, and relevant committee work
5. Act as an ambassador for our organisation, helping to grow our relationships and reach
6. Contribute to the ongoing review and development of Board policies and processes
