Store Manager | Homewares & Lifestyle Retail We are currently partnering with a well-established Australian family-owned homewares retailer to recruit an experienced Store Manager for their Camberwell location. Following a recent leadership change, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a well-known store with a loyal customer base, quality product offering, and a high level of autonomy in how you run your business day-to-day. About the Role This is a hands-on leadership position where you will take full ownership of store performance, team leadership, and customer experience. You will be responsible for driving a strong in-store culture, lifting engagement on the shop floor, and ensuring a premium customer experience is consistently delivered. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a customer-focused retail team Drive sales performance and store KPIs Maintain strong floor presence and customer engagement Oversee day-to-day operations including rostering and stock management Ensure high standards of presentation and visual merchandising Build strong customer relationships and repeat trade Balance commercial performance with service excellence What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment Strong background in customer experience and relationship building Confident leading from the shop floor (not office-based management style) Commercially aware without over-focusing on reporting and analysis Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment Adaptable, intuitive leader who thrives in an autonomous setting Homewares, lifestyle or broader retail experience highly regarded What's on Offer Salary circa $80K - $85K Super (depending on experience) Tuesday-Saturday roster Autonomy to run your store and make commercial decisions Supportive, family-owned business culture Quality product offering and established customer base Opportunity to make a real impact in a key store location About You You are a confident retail leader who thrives on the floor, not behind a desk.
