Job Summary
We seek a seasoned professional to lead our Real Estate Team. As a Principal Broker, you will oversee a small team managing and growing a portfolio of commercial property clients.
You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing expert advice on insurance products and services.
Build and maintain relationships with Commercial Property clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all insurance-related inquiries and needs.
Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and services, ensuring comprehensive coverage and effective risk management strategies.
Oversee the policy renewal process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, and negotiate terms with insurance carriers to secure the best coverage and pricing for clients.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and risk management, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Qualifications
Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or Equivalent)
Insurance broking experience, ideally looking after an SME or commercial book
Prior experience managing a small team
Strong knowledge of retail and domestic insurance products
Experience in developing risk management strategies tailored to client needs.
Proven track record of successfully managing client portfolios and achieving sales targets.
