About this Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Engineer to join our Roads department. The primary function of the Project Engineer is to ensure efficient, safe, and effective delivery of maintenance and capital works projects related to all transport assets and quarry operations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver complex projects efficiently, ensuring timely completion within budget and meeting high quality standards.
* Oversee contractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations throughout project execution.
* Lead risk and quality management processes by identifying potential issues, implementing solutions, and maintaining high safety standards across all operations.
* Manage stakeholder communication effectively, providing clear updates, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts where necessary.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Engineering (Civil – 4-year degree) or equivalent recognized by Engineers Australia.
* Eligibility for membership of a professional body (LGEA, IPWEA, IEA).
* General Construction Induction Card (White card).
* Current Class C Driver's Licence.
