About this Position Henkel Adhesives is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the Kilsyth warehouse function, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant flow of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods across the site. The role oversees day-to-day warehouse operations, managing both blue-collar and administrative staff while ensuring the team and resources meet current and future business needs.
As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, the position is responsible for driving performance across safety, DIFOT, warehouse costs, inventory accuracy, customer complaints, and compliance. The role will also focus on improving productivity, cost efficiency, and quality through continuous improvement and LEAN practices, while overseeing inbound and outbound operations, inventory management, order fulfilment, dispatch, and reverse logistics.
What You´ll Do
Lead and manage the Warehouse Operations team, including both blue-collar and administrative staff, ensuring capability and performance. Monitor and report on key operational KPIs, including safety, DIFOT, warehouse costs, inventory accuracy, customer complaints, and compliance. Identify and implement initiatives to improve productivity, delivery performance, cost efficiency, safety, and quality. Ensure the warehouse function has the appropriate resources, systems, and talent to meet current and future business demands. Maintain strict safety and compliance standards, particularly in the handling and storage of Dangerous Goods. Drive continuous improvement and LEAN practices across warehouse operations. Represent Kilsyth Warehouse Operations with internal teams and external stakeholders while contributing to site leadership and cultural improvement initiatives. Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including inbound materials, inventory management across onsite and external warehouses, relabelling of imported goods, order fulfilment, dispatch, quality investigations, and reverse logistics.
What makes you a good fit
Minimum 10 years’ experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or materials management. Proven leadership experience managing teams and building strong team culture. Knowledge of Dangerous Goods storage and domestic transport regulations. Strong verbal and written communication and reporting skills. Experience tracking and reporting on operational KPIs. Strong customer focus with a proactive and driven approach. Ability to manage daily operations, including meetings, rosters, and schedules. Experience using systems such as WMS/FMS, SAP, Power BI, and Excel, with strong problem-solving skills.
