Delivery Consultant - Software Engineering, AWS Professional Services

Responsibilities
* Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services to build and launch products
* Deliver technical engagements with partners and customers, including understanding customer requirements, creating consulting proposals, and developing service offerings
* Lead engagements that demonstrate the use of AWS services to support new distributed computing solutions, often spanning private and public cloud, including migration and modernization of applications and development of new applications using AWS services
* Work with AWS engineering and support teams to relay partner and customer needs and feedback to inform technology roadmaps; share real-world implementation challenges and recommend new capabilities
* Explore innovative use of AI, data and analytics services to meet business needs with clients and partners
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
* Experience designing and implementing Enterprise Scale Big Data Platforms, Data Lakes and/or Data Warehouses
* Experience leading discovery and design workshops including estimating, scoping and delivering customer proposals aligned with Analytics Solutions
* Experience with tools such as Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, Oozie, Hue, Zookeeper, HCatalog, Solr, Avro, Parquet, Iceberg, Hudi
* Experience developing software and data engineering code in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, PySpark, Node, etc)
* AWS and other Data/AI aligned Certifications
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment
* Hands-on experience leading large-scale global data analytics projects aligned with business use cases
* Experience in Data Quality management: processes to measure and manage data quality, enforce data controls, and provide data assurance
* Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments
* Customer-facing skills to represent AWS within the customer environment and discuss trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation
