**About Chorus**
Chorus is a WA based organisation with close to 1000 staff and volunteers who support seniors, people on the mental health recovery journey, and those living with a disability. Our purpose is to enable people to live the life they choose at home and in the community. We have designed a structure that focuses less on management and hierarchy and more on the things that matter - relationships, customers, and communities! Our network of small local teams enables Chorus people to be more connected to each other and feel a sense of belonging.
**About the role**
**Essential Requirements**:
- Previous experience in gardening is required;
- Fantastic customer service skills;
- Providing support and guidance to volunteers of varying skills and abilities;
- A team player;
- Good communication skills are written, interpersonal and verbal;
- Basic computer and paperwork skills;
- A safety-first approach to ensure safety and wellbeing of yourself, clients, and the team;
- Willing and able to keep up with the demands of the physical demands of a gardening role;
- Willing and able to work across other services to spend time with customers (this may include domestic assistance, social support, group activities)
- A Certificate in Horticulture or similar would be an advantage but not essential;
**Prerequisites**
- A NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Western Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions
- Your own vehicle
- Rights to work in Australia
- Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply)
