The Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Worker. As a valued member, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of older members of our community by helping them maintain their independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing home help services including general housekeeping, cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors, washing, folding and ironing laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
* Delivering personal care services such as assisting clients with mobility and therapy goals, providing complex care for customers with high care needs, administering medications, and providing social and emotional support.
What We're Looking For:
* A passion for delivering an exceptional service and building positive relationships with clients and their families.
* An ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems while knowing when to seek assistance from your manager.
* A valid Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
* Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, preferably in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medication administration.
