LWB Education is a wholly owned subsidiary of Life Without Barriers and is comprised of a network of schools supporting young people to re‑engage in education by providing high school aged students with inclusive and flexible learning options.

Responsibilities
* Support student learning and engagement through in‑class assistance, wellbeing programmes and individual learning plans.
* Foster a safe, inclusive and trauma‑informed environment supporting cultural identity and diversity.
* Build positive relationships with young people and families to promote wellbeing and life skills.
* Collaborate with teachers, teams and community agencies to provide integrated support.
* Participate in school routines, activities and professional development.
* Maintain records and comply with child safety organisational policies and legal requirements.
Skills and Experience
* Relevant qualifications in Youth Work or similar and/or equivalent experience (e.g. cultural and community knowledge and experience).
* Demonstrated experience engaging and supporting young people with complex needs, their families and communities to foster young people's engagement in learning.
* High level communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with young people, families and communities.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to provide and support a range of wellbeing and engagement programmes and activities.
* Current First Aid certification.
* Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and ability to drive 12‑seat vehicles.
Probity Checks
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and NSW Working with Children Check.
