Qualification and abilities
In the position of field service engineer you'll make an important contribution to the goal of achieving the highest possible customer satisfaction, focusing on the continuity of customers' processes. That means you'll need an enthusiastic and proactive attitude and a flexible working approach.
University degree major in automation, control engineering or mechatronics with at least 3 to 5 years relevant working experience
Excellent reading, written and oral skills in English language
Knowledge of controls (including PLC/industrial PCs), electrical/mechanical systems and networks related automated baggage handling systems or material handling system
Responsibilities
* You will be responsible for ensuring that the preventive maintenance of our material handling systems is carried out properly, as agreed in the maintenance contracts with customers. you'll be responsible for solving them on your own initiative.
* Participant site installation, commissioning and service take over if any
* Daily monitoring of equipment condition
* Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on site
* The first service desk in local work with global service desk
* Solve mechanical, electrical and automation controls issues independently or by remote support
* Spare parts management and proposal to customer for make sure system operation normally
* Communicate with internal and customer to implement changes, e.g. retrofit, upgrade
