About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) Teacher to join our teaching team. You will deliver engaging English language lessons to international students and support their academic progress in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality English language lessons (General English / EAP)
* Teach across a range of levels and student cohorts
* Assess student progress and provide feedback
* Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials
* Maintain accurate student records and complete administrative tasks
* Support students' learning both inside and outside the classroom
Essential Requirements
* Bachelor's degree (any discipline)
* Recognised TESOL qualification (e.g. CELTA, Cert IV TESOL, DELTA)
* Demonstrated experience teaching ESL/ELICOS students
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* Eligibility to work in Australia
Desirable
* Experience teaching Academic English (EAP)
* Familiarity with IELTS-focused instruction
* Experience with LMS platforms (e.g. Moodle, Canvas)
Employment Details
* Casual / part-time hours (may vary weekly)
* Approx. 15–25 teaching hours per week
* Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and award)
