Communications Coordinator (Fixed Term, Full‐Time)
As part of the Brand, Communications and Digital team, you will create high‐quality communications that inspire prospective and existing supporters to engage, give and stay connected to our mission. Through clear messaging, consistent branding and audience‐focused content, you will help ensure every communication reflects the values, impact and vision of Peter Mac.
Key Responsibilities
* Creating engaging and impactful content across a range of channels and audiences to inspire support and fundraising.
* Providing communications support and advice to fundraising programs and campaigns.
* Developing compelling donor, campaign and organisational storytelling that connects supporters with the impact of their giving.
* Ensuring consistent messaging and brand application across all communications materials.
* Managing and maintaining the Foundation's communications assets and resources.
* Supporting the ongoing development and stewardship of the Peter Mac Cancer Foundation brand.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver high‐quality communications that build awareness, engagement and support for the Foundation.
Qualifications
* Degree in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field.
* Minimum two years' experience in a communications role producing content for a range of platforms and audiences.
* Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver multi‐faced campaigns.
* Strong writing, editing and proof‐reading skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content.
* Creative and innovative approach to content development.
* Strong initiative, attention to detail, negotiation and time‐management skills.
* Desirable: Experience in a non‐profit or fundraising organisation.
* Intermediate graphic design skills.
* Experience using e‐marketing platforms.
Remuneration
$74,448.40–$82,305.60 per annum, depending on experience, as per the Victorian Public Sector Enterprise Agreement 2021‐2025.
