The Australian Bureau of Statistics conducts the Census every five years to collect comprehensive data about Australia. It helps us understand our changing society, estimate population, distribute funds and plan services for individuals families and communities.
About this Role
You will play a key role in maximising participation in the Census by connecting stakeholders and members of the community in regional and remote areas.
* Plan coordinate and deliver Census engagement activities for your assigned region.
* Maintain a record of engagement activities via the Stakeholder Management System.
* Promote participation in the Census through community visits promotional activities and presentations.
Demonstrated knowledge or experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples ability to engage with service providers communicate effectively and develop strong relationships are essential qualities.

* Demonstrated experience or knowledge in working with or advocating for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
