· Blue card
· NDIS Orientation Module Certificate.
· Current first aid and CPR
· Driver's license, registered vehicle, and insurances.

About the role:
We are seeking multiple applications for Community Access / SIL to High Intensity with Behaviours. We are looking for Disability Support Workers who want to make a difference to the lives of participants, not just follow a timetable or routine. We would like our Disability Support Workers to be responsive, think outside of the box, be proactive and attentive.
Our service provides supports 24 hours per day over 7 days per week. We are seeking Disability Support Workers who can cover the range of shifts – from 3 hours to 8 hour shifts. Split shifts (split shift allowance will be paid), weekend, sleepover and public holidays (all relevant penalties are paid) required depending on the participants needs.
We are a SCHADS award employer and therefore follow the SCHADS award under the Social and community services sector. We provide a high level of education and support to our Support Workers and flexible rostering within reason.
Our participants range from community access participants to participants with high medical needs and high behavioural interventions. A range of mandatory and additional training will always be provided (all mandatory training is paid training) in line with the individual participants needs to ensure a safe environment.
Desirable:
· Previous experience working within the Disability Community Service area.
· Currently hold or working towards a Certificate III relevant to Disability Services.
· Have a clear and understandable voice for communication.
· Have a level of IT and use of smart devices.
· To be able to be proactive and attentive to the participants.
Experience working with complex behaviours and implementing strategies to deal with behaviours ideal.
Job Type: Casual - This will also include superannuation, portable Long Service Leave, penalties and allowances, and 25% loading on a base rate under the SCHADS pay guide.
Pay point levels are determined on qualifications and level of experience.
