Day to day, in this role, you can enjoy:
* Using your mastery knowledge of cooking, to plan an interesting and exciting menu for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old
* Preparing a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, as well as working to dietary requirements for babies and children
* Confidently managing the kitchen autonomously, ensuring effective stock rotation, budgeting, and shopping for your kitchen
* Ensuring the highest level of food safety and supervision in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards
* Mentoring and guiding a kitchen hand in a professional environment, to deliver the highest quality of food and service
* Providing thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Educators, to our littlest learners.

About You
* At least a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willing to obtain)
* A current SA Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
* Current Full RRHAN Certification (or willing to obtain)
* Current HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (or be willing to obtain)
* National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months (or be willing to obtain)
* National Child Safety Training (or willing to obtain)
* Extraordinary verbal, written and time management skills
* The availability to work from 6:30am to 2:30pm
