General Manager Sales and Operations - Regional Housing - Regional VIC

This is a senior leadership role that is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the Victorian Regional Housing business (Regional West, Regional North, and Gippsland Region), and in particular, ensuring both the sustainability and financial performance of the Victorian Regional Housing business.
The incumbent will operate at a senior strategic level to develop and implement relevant business strategies to support Metricon's continued growth and lead the industry in its identified markets within Metricon's (Victorian) Regional Housing. The incumbent will be required to strategically manage the sales and operations functions.
The successful candidate will have:
• Relevant degree (ideally to post graduate level) – preferably in business management, commerce or similar business discipline
• 15+ years experience in a senior management role (preferably within the volume home building industry).
• A proven track record in people management and leading a large workforce by focusing on agreed objectives to maximise performance; and
• Experience in developing business strategies and implementing these to achieve key corporate / business objectives

• People strategy to ensure the right resourcing strategy and talent management
• Sales and Marketing strategy for continuous business development
