 
        
        Overview 
This state department is seeking a skilled Program Scheduler to support their Delivery teams in ensuring projects and programs across Maintain, Build, and Respond streams are scheduled effectively. This role plays a critical part in achieving efficient resource utilization, maintaining a forward pipeline of works, and supporting apprentice training outcomes. 
Responsibilities 
Use contemporary scheduling systems (e.g., Microsoft Project Professional, Project Web App) to develop, review, and administer schedules for multiple government projects and programs. 
Build and maintain detailed schedules for current and future pipeline projects, ensuring they align with time and resource requirements. 
Collaborate with Apprentice Supervisors and the departments apprenticeship team to ensure apprentices are scheduled to projects/maintenance tasks that meet training competencies. 
Develop and maintain program dashboards that track project status, construction progress, and resource utilization. 
Work closely with delivery teams and key stakeholders to ensure a consistent scheduling approach and accurate project execution/reporting. 
Identify and resolve resourcing issues, escalating where necessary to Regional Management teams. 
Successful Candidate 
Proven experience in project or program scheduling, ideally in construction or infrastructure delivery environments. 
Advanced skills in Microsoft Project Professional, Project Web App (or equivalent), and data processing/manipulation. 
Robust ability to interpret detailed project documentation and complex information from multiple sources. 
Knowledge of construction scheduling and management methodologies. 
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders. 
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely outcomes.
