The Opportunity:We're growing Join our experienced team delivering critical water meter replacement services under the Toowoomba Regional Council contract. We're currently looking for qualified plumbers who are safety-focused, motivated, and eager to contribute to meaningful, community-based work.
What's on Offer:
* Competitive hourly rates: $45 – $57.91 per hour + bonuses
* Up to $5,000 over 12months **Bonuses paid at key milestones – sign on, probation and anniversaries
* Full-time, casual, and subcontractor positions available
* Company vehicle, phone & uniform provided (for employees)
* Monday to Friday only – enjoy monthly RDO's
* Ongoing, stable work with long-term potential
* Supportive team culture with full training provided
Your Day-to-Day Might Include:
* Domestic and large water meter replacements
* Installing digital data loggers
* Meter reading and site restoration
* Customer interaction and onsite coordination
* General labouring and safety spotting where needed
What We're Looking For:We're seeking reliable, safety-conscious plumbers with:
* A QLD Occupational Plumber Licence and valid driver's licence
* Good physical fitness and ability to handle manual work
* Strong focus on safety, quality and working outdoors
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* The ability to work both independently and within a team
* Large meter experience favourable and comfortable working on residential sites (including around pets)
For Subcontractors:You'll need a current Contractor Licence, ABN, GST registration, and Public Liability Insurance.
