About the Position: Loader/ Excavator Operator
Key responsibilities
* Manual handling tasks of resource recovery and waste
* Forklift, Excavator Loader operation, assessing loads being delivered and carting of loads
* Landfill operator training will be provided to the successful candidate.
* Follow all procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
* Providing assistance in other area of the waste facility, such as the recycling drop off and waste transfer station sites
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Perform routine equipment checks and report issues
What we are looking for:
* You bring to the role your passion for maximising resource recovery
* A commitment to safe work practices, your friendly personality and are a team player
* A willingness to use your initiative and contribute to the success of the team.
* Experience in the waste or resource recovery industry is desirable
* Experience in plant and machinery operations is highly regarded
* A positive can-do attitude, enthusiastic and passionate about what you do
Qualifications and experience
* Front end loader ticket required
* Excavator ticket required
* Forklift ticket highly regarded
* Ability to adhere to safe work practices
* Holds a current Construction White Card (desirable)
