Located in North Nowra NSW, you will be part of a care team supporting our male client with a Traumatic Brain Injury. You will provide assistance with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation and feeding assistance and An extensive onboarding program will be provided with buddy shifts to help you with your training and education in the client's care routine.
Your key responsibilities
Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker, who can undertake the following key responsibilities,
* Community access and participation as required
* Mealtime management and assistance
* Activities of daily living
* Medication administration
* Diabetes awareness
* Light domestic cleaning
About you.
To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or above (Relevant care certificates may also be considered)
* Experience with TBI - Traumatic Brain Injury management
* Behavioural Management and Support experience
* Medication Administration certificate or willingness to obtain
* Current First aid and CPR
* Yellow Card/NDIS Worker's Screening Check
* NDIS Orientation Module
* English Fluency - Verbal and Written
* Current Driver Licence and Comprehensive Insurance
