About the Role The Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Lead is responsible for driving and executing CRO and Personalisation strategies across the university’s digital ecosystem. This role is critical in enhancing user experience, increasing engagement, and driving conversions from prospective students and industry partners by optimisng web content, landing pages, and user journeys. The position works closely with digital marketing, User Experience (UX/UI) team, web development, and analytics teams to ensure an evidence-based approach to improving conversion performance across multiple digital channels. If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for: • Develops and executes a CRO strategy focused on improving inquiries, applications, and enrolments through data-driven testing and UX/UI enhancements.• Analyses user behaviour, website performance, and conversion funnels using tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar to identify optimisation opportunities.• Designs and manages A/B and multivariate testing roadmaps and evaluates outcomes to inform ongoing improvements.• Develops and executes data-driven personalisation strategies to deliver tailored digital experiences that enhance user engagement and drive conversions.• Collaborates cross-functionally with UX/UI, digital marketing, SEO, content, design, and web development teams to align CRO with broader goals.• Leads user experience optimisation efforts, ensuring mobile-friendliness, accessibility compliance, and streamlined user journeys.• Communicates insights and test results to senior leadership, promotes a data-driven culture, and stays current on industry and competitor trends. Proven experience in developing and executing a data-driven CRO strategy – across both experimentation and personalisation - to enhance key performance metrics, including inquiries, applications, and enrolments. 2. Experience collaborating with Human-Centred Design (HCD) teams to identify UX/UI improvement opportunities for testing—please provide 1–2 examples where an experiment led to measurable conversion improvements.3. Hands-on experience with Digital Experience Platforms (preferably Optimizely), analytics tools (preferably Google Analytics), and tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager) for tracking, analysis, and experimentation.4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex CRO insights into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership, marketing, and IT teams.
Remuneration
Remuneration & Benefits Base Salary Range: $119,041 to $135,575 pa (HEW 8) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. This position is full-time, and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 12 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role.
