Role Description
We're looking for multiple Estimators and Quantity Surveyors with infrastructure experience to develop cost estimates and programs for Infrastructure‐related projects. These projects will have a heavy focus on Water Infrastructure works, ranging from $1m to multi‐billion‐dollar budgets.
Located in Adelaide, you'll be responsible for:
* Overseeing quantity take‐offs, to expertly calculate material and labour costs based on best practice first‐principles cost estimation and construction techniques.
* Reviewing design documentation to inform client recommendations.
* Managing cost reports and project budgets, including scope changes and variation requests.
* Closely monitoring on‐site costs through delivery phase to prevent budget overrun.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you'll need demonstrated experience working on Infrastructure projects.
Ideally, you'll have experience with Water Infrastructure, Sewerage, Desalination Plants, Electrical Stations, Roads, Traffic or other related Linear Infrastructure projects in either a consulting (client‐side) or principal contractor environment.
You'll also need:
* Strong communications skills and an ability to liaise with stakeholders at varying levels.
* High attention to detail and a customer‐focused mindset.
* Experience with a quantity take‐off software such as CostX or Blue Beam is required, whilst experience with estimating software such as Pronamics Expert Estimation, Candy and CATS, and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, or P6 software will be highly regarded.
* Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline will be highly regarded.
