As
Commercial Manager
, you'll lead all commercial and contractual aspects of the Barry Beach Marine Terminal Upgrade Project for QDC—driving financial performance, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with Victorian legislation and industry standards. You'll oversee budgets, contracts, procurement, and cost control to deliver the project within agreed financial parameters while maintaining transparency and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all commercial functions including contract administration, procurement, cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow analysis.
Ensure compliance with Victorian construction and financial regulatory requirements.
Manage subcontractor agreements and variations to protect project margins and mitigate risk.
Collaborate with senior leadership and project teams to align commercial strategies with delivery objectives.
Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes and systems.
About you
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial management within civil or marine construction.
Strong knowledge of Victorian construction law and contract administration.
Proven success managing budgets and commercial risk on major projects.
